2021 was the year I stumbled on my passion for making artistic charcuterie. I believe in good food for health, for art, and as the foundation for building community and love. I think the quality of food affects the quality of life. In the same vein, food carefully curated, prepared, and plated can evoke strong positive, healing emotions for both the person making it and the receiver. What a beautiful exchange!
Since I’ve begun this journey, I’ve also learned how this art form has transformed my life and is a healing journey for my soul that I’m just learning to understand. There’s something magical about nature and the food we eat, its connection to the source of life, and how it speaks to our soul.
I’ve also begun diving deeper into what it means to be immersed in a creative mindset, how to tap into it, and ultimately, how to let go of so many of the expectations and constraints we place on ourselves and just let the art happen.
